I miss the HUGE bass on the FH5S a whole lot. I couldn't deal with the higher mids/low treble and that was a painful realization to make

Really? I found the bass to be better on the FH5S. Went deeper and hit harder for me. The treble has gotten more tame over time.

That's what I'm saying. Re: bass for the three IEMs we're talking about, it's FH5S > FH5 > FH7, imo. FH5S was straight up thundering, but the treble

I put about 250 hours of burn in on them and they did chill on the treble, but it was still too over the top for me and I hate that.

I hear you. It really depends on the individual. So far I’m loving them. Upgrade in every way. Time will tell.

I still am loving my FH5. I use them with the UTWS5 and they are the best sounding true wireless setup I own. I use the Linkbuds S as my true TWS as they are better for around town use and taking calls etc. But they only have maybe 70% of the sound quality of the FH5 with less sub-bass and way less 3D and spatial qualities

For those find FH5 too bright, try it with Cayin RU6, it tames the treble

Hi, received yesterday my new FH5 from aliexpress and strangely even brand new they were missing the stock (attached) medium balanced tips.
So I used the bass medium tips.
Now I'm looking to buy some new ones from amazon.co.uk, I've read something (about measures and sound stuff) and I really can't decide between this 3 sets:

I discovered Azla sednafit eartips a few months back and wouldn't use anything else. I have them on my FH5's, WF-1000XM4's and BGVP DM6's and haven't wanted to change to anything else. Sorry if this has made the decision harder!
