FH5 includes 4 drivers ( 1D+3BA ) and all the BA are made by Knowles , and better headphone cable. depended on current design, I think the FH5's retail price in U.S.A should be about $250~ $300.

I think it's a reasonable price for 3 BAs and a better cable.

Thought I had. Nice to know you think it good value - I was not so sure twice the price of Pro for an extra BA. But, ...

I can understand you , but in here most people should know we will not charge high margin from our products, the price has it's reason, also the final design has not been decided so everything is possible.

I have F9 and I have x7ii & x5iii so I am looking for 2nd pair of iem's. Not sure if I should get FH1 or F9 or if I can justify FH5 when released so I am hoping for best price & synergy.

It would be fantastic if the design continued with the line marked by F9 / Pro and FH1.

They are the most comfortable and easy-to-place type of shells that exist.

I think sometimes it's better to try something new rather than just sticking with something old even though it was such a success. The design of Fiio F lines is good, but it's not the best in terms of isolation and fit.
I saw some pictures of the FH5 on the Internet and was quite impressed with the design. It looked so cool with new housing design and a yellowish cable which made it very premium.
Anw, it's a matter of personal preference. I hope Fiio will do the best they can. I can't wait to hear it

I understand what you say, but I personally perfect the shells of FH1, that's why I said it. Like those of the LZ A5 or TFZ Exclusive 5. That type of shell I love. I also have the IT01 and I do not feel so comfortable. I am aware that each person has ears with different shapes and sizes and not everyone will be seated just like me.

Hehe. But you said that maybe just because you didn't have a chance to actually wear it on? Take a look at this picture. I think it will seat well in your ears, even better than the FH1

About the retail price in some countries, we will try to talk with our distributor but it is not our right to control the retail price . also the VAT is quite different between countries.

Yes, but as a resident of Jersey, Channel Islands, that is part of the UK but not the EU, I can purchase FiiO products from two of your (Only) three UK retailers UK VAT free. What I can't do is purchase from your "FiiO Store" UK VAT free on Amazon.co.uk, although I can directly from Amazon and many other 3rd party shops. Stop blaming everyone else until you get your own house in order.

Sky TV used to this and one person took it so far, now we all get the UK VAT off.

I might change my X7ii and F9 Pro anyway, so it might not matter shortly.

Alternatively, wait to see what the FH5 is like, as I like the idea of having a DAP and IEM from the same manufacturer. It's probably the Jersey thing again, as I can't listen to anything before I buy.
