Now that interests me greatly. If these have a benefit to the stock I'll have to pick up a set myself.

Random update, I'm rather liking the vocal tips on these. The mediums give a nice fit and I like the added edge. I can't decide which setup I prefer LOL. Seems like it all depends on mood, which is a good thing.
Different people, different moments, different moods, different music.May have different feelings. This is also the joy of music, the joy of life.Being happy and liking is the most important thing.haha.

Anyone can compare the Moondrop Blessing 2 (/Dusk) to the FD5 in terms of detail retrieval?

I will say that these make a lovely portable little brother to the DT177X Go. Obviously there are differences but I feel like the overall flavor is close enough that swapping from one to the other doesn't give me that dreaded feeling of having a total shift in sound because I'm going mobile.

I still can't believe how good the FD5 became with the Spitfits cp145. It's become my favourite IEM with them, and I can't take them out of my ears. Layering and detail are excellent, while it retains the huge soundstage and very natural sound.

Swapped between the nozzles a lot and noticed that some of the soundstage depth but not the width is sacrificed using the smaller nozzles.

Added a light coating of lithium grease to the screw threads too since screwing them in felt... Rough. (Lightly greased the nozzle storage 'pad', wiped off the excess, and screwed the nozzles on them to lightly coat the threads)

The more I use it, the less I feel the harshness of highs with the large nozzles somehow but I don't really believe in burn-in.

Brain burn-in. you adjusted to them. Swap over to a set with much softer highs for a week or so then come back and it'll be like they're sharp again. Or put in a set with even sharper highs and then the FD5 will feel almost too smooth.
