About this conversation, isn't FiiO making Q1markii which should be basically a BT DAC/AMP where you would plug the cable of F9? OR you're looking for something smaller / more portable?

FiiO have the BTR unit - you use your own cable - just plug it in. FiiO’s Q1ii does not have Bluetooth.

Any word on when the Pro will be available?

There is the Westone and a hand full of third party models that do.

Just got my F9. It would seem I have the "improved" version. Didn't expect that.

I apologize if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find it skimming through this thread. Is there a sonic difference between the F9 and the F9SE?

for the wireless solution for our IEMs, we will have below new products:

1, hifi bluetooth receiver BTR1, which supports aptX and used one AK4376 individual DAC chip .

2, BTR3, which may supports aptX HD, LDAC, already under developing.

3, RC-BT. which is a bluetooth cable which supports aptX.

    How is the sq?
How do they stack up against the zs6? Is it worth it to spend three times as much for the fiio f9s instead of the zs6 assuming one doesn't care much about accessories?

Hi! I have the F9s in my ears as I type this. They arrived this morning. I am driving them with a Chord Mojo hooked up to my computer. I am happily surprised how nice they are. This morning I listened to them with my X5iii with the SE cable. The body or each earpiece is smaller than me Shure SE 846s. They rubber ball shaped seal is very comfortable and does a very good job of sealing. Overall it is very easy to insert, and very easy to get a good seal. The sound, fresh out of the box is quite nice. Warm, decent high end, perhaps a slightly subdued middle. But very nice. At 1/10th the cost of the Shure SE 846s, I'd say it/s 8/10s the sound and possibly more comfortable to wear. I favor the Shure Olive foam tips, so I am surprised how the non-foam Fiio tips are doing so well. I haven't put the 846s in since this morning when the F9s arrived so it will be interesting to hear them again. Nice job Fiio!

Great to hear. Do you notice the spike in frequency at the 7khz zone?
