Guess you found your happy carry case then, no?

I really love this carrying case to be honest, it can be thrown in a backpack and will resist my turbulent daily usage without complaints.

The best usage for this case so far has been placing IEMs together with silica bags in it so all IEMs stay nice and dry - especially their drivers.

I think I'd use it more like how you are, I don't really take my AP60 anywhere. I'll probably spring for a Pelican i1010 or something.

My F5 on my Schiit (1960s Siemens E188CC) on an XLR extension cable out of my Naim (and my new Fiio replacement balanced cable, AAA customer service as always from Fiio), the F5s have about 100 hours on them now. So time for review, if I can work out where to post it on this new site, hopefully this weekend. Still loving them:ksc75smile:

That's a juicy setup! Looking forward to your review.

Sooo after not being able to use the 3.5mm cable I decided to make a balanced adapter to A test if it was the cable for RMA and B so I could listen to these!

It probably sounds stupid but as soon as I put these in it was almost like I was wearing my HD650s frequency response wise. I had to double take for a bit.
Soundstage is excellent for an iem, mids and vocals are very present giving and intimate listening experience.
Highs are more rolled off compared to most iems but this means they are never tiring or sibilant.
And bass extends far lower than I thought they would.

The fit is shallow but seals well and are comfortable due to this.

Now I haven't listened to any $600+ iems, but these are by far the best I personally have listened to and cannot recommend these enough especially for the price.

yes, we found that the F5 will sound great with enough power so it may not suitable for smartphone or other source with poor power output.

Now that the F5 is back in stock, I'm itching to get them! However, just one more question: can anyone compare the F5 with the Magaosi K3 Pro, and how the F5 stacks up to it?

Anyone? Thanks

Anyone? Thanks

Now we just sold very few F5 to the end customers so I think there will be answer when we start to delivery enough F5 to our agents from next week.

No worries!

I don't actually have Magosi K3, so it is almost impossible to say how F5 will sound compared to it - but F5 is really good on its own and at what it does!

I'm currently burning in my F5 for 100hrs. I will then be testing them against the Venture Electronics Duke IEMs. The F5 already has more impact and the fact that you can roll cables is awesome. What I will say about the Duke is that it is TINY and you can actually lie down on a pillow and not really feel it in the ear.

So, how did it go?

I'd love to see some comparisons vs your high-end headphones :)

Thanks
