No, the custom EQ is not supported in M5 currently. We will try to add it in later firmware update.

I posted a more detailed set of thoughts in the other thread, but this seems more polished than the M0. However, two really important features are not included. Can these be added in the future?

Initial negative impressions:
2. PLEASE add BT transport functionality (in aptX as well as sbc or LDAC). The M0 has this in SBC or LDAC mode.

Note: I was mistaken regarding folder browsing on the M5. It DOES have this feature, as does the M0.

Would love some feedback from anyone who’s bought the M5

Especially if anyone has thoughts on how this compares to the ES100. Mainly as a Bluetooth transport (sound from iPhone to device)
And mobile side software (if this has any)

I guess it will also be good to know how music played from onboard (sd card) compared to playing music from iPhone connected via lighting adaptor.

I posted my thoughts in the other thread. To summarize, M5 equals or slightly exceeds the M0 in just about every way, except that theM0 can function as a bt transport.

No software like es100, but M5 is of much higher build quality than es100.
