no. Fiio does sell the a1 which is a 14 watt class D Speaker amp without a headphone jack that stacks neatly on top of the e9 and is the same form factor.

If you are referring to PC speaker, all of them has internal power amp and doesn't need another external amp.

yeah i mean 2.1 pc speakers, i watched a review on youtube where he connected pc speakers but ive read that speakers and headphones have different amps so i was a little confused.
he connected the speakers to the pre_out or line_out on the back of the E9...
when amping headphones from a dac that has dobly headphone or dts does the amp output it the same as what it recieves or does it revert it to normal 2 channel without the effects?
what is a good amp for hd 558s on a desktop pc ? dont need a dac... +/- 100$

cheers

Any amp should just amplify the source with no change to the signal. In Mad Lust Envy's Gaming thread he said he amped the HE-4 with the schiit lyr chained to the astro mixamp just to play games with them.

The HD558 doesn't need an ultra hefty amp to sound good. I can recommend the the Fiio E17 at most, but if you plan on upgrading to higher impedance phones, The Fiio E09k works wonders with Even the 600 Ohm DT990 and DT880.
