I purchased my fiio E7 about 45 days ago. This worked perfectly with
my iPad 3d through a USB/camera hookup until about a day ago. About a
day ago the unit began functioning for 1-2 minutes before a
"fluttering" of the music would begin, like a skipping record. If I
pull the USB cord out of the E7 and plug it back in it will work for
another 1-2 minutes before the fluttering sound begins again. I have
reset the unit, changed cables and connectors and used different music
sources, but it makes no difference. Any suggestions? It's too late to return this to Amazon (30 day limit).

I once had a fiio e7, and I used it to listen music from ipad 3 via fiio l9. They worked perfectly. Which kind of cables you use, the 3.5mm to 3.5mm or the apple dock to 3.5mm ?
