I'm about to purchase a windows 8.1 tablet... Which of these would work? I have akg q701,senn hd 518, and about to purchase Shure srh840. I realize the e12 doesn't have a dac.
Fiio e12, e18, or e17 for Windows tablet

I don't have E12 or E17.
My E18 works well with my ASUS T100 even if connected via microUSB port (doubles as the tablet charger.) It works alright with AKG Q701. Just not sure if a more powerful amp will give the Q701 a better sound (performance.)
