Hello all,
Skip to the bold paragraph if you want to get straight to the question and skip the intro :3
I am new to the Hi - FI life and I after 8 months of using my set up I am sure I am starting to become an audiophile, but I am inexperienced and would like some help getting the most out of my portable AMP.
My setup is the JVC HA-SZ2000 with the pads replaced with pleather pads and the Fiio E12 DIY edition portable amp, it is my first big purchase in proper sound and I am loving it. I mostly listen to any and all electronic music with proper teeth clattering bass - mostly continuous wobbly, heavy and deep bass and not the typical 1/4 beat.
I only bought the DIY edition because the regular one was out of stock however I have no idea what combinations of OP AMP and buffers for my DIY to use and I would really like to get into it.
Has anyone here tinkered with the FIIO E12 DIY Edition enough to write a guide on the different OP AMP / buffer combinations and how they sound ? I have tried some myself but I would love to hear from an experienced ear. What combinations produced the best / deepest bass ? What are the pros and cons of each combo ?
I have searched many times and couldn't find any posts on this any help would be appreciated thanks !
