I noticed I am getting a click sound (more akin to the sound of trickling rain) in my headphones and assumed it to be signal interference. It's a lot more noticeable when the unit is set to high gain. My E10 is sitting on the same desk as my wireless router, so I picked up the unit and started moving it around in the air. Noticed certain random positions, vertical orientations and such produce higher interference than others. When I unplug the router power cord, the noise seems to stop.

Is this for sure the E10 amp? Could it be the headphones (hard for me to test, given the position of my PC)? I was under the impression that the E10 housing of the unit was made for anti-interference?

If you guys have any suggestions or comments, I'd greatly appreciate them.

I've found that moving the amp around only lightens the trickling sound. It's now sitting on top of my PC, which is under my glass desk (router sits on top of desk). I can only remove it completely if I unplug the router or physically touch the E10. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

It is possible that you router is sending out radio wave so strong that it penetrates E10's metal case and interfere with its circuit, but I am more inclined to think that the noise is coming from the USB cable, which I assume your router is also connected to. If it is the first case, the easy fix is to put some metal plate (i.e tin plate from can food) or a few layer of aluminum foil between E10 and the router. If it is the 2nd case, you will have to plug them in USB ports that are as far apart as possible, which might or might not help. The best way to fix this is to get a USB isolator, which could be > $25 on eBay.
