I noticed I was getting a click sound (more akin to the sound of trickling rain) in my headphones and assumed it to be signal interference. It's a lot more noticeable when the unit is set to high gain. My E10 is sitting on the same desk as my wireless router, so I picked up the unit and started moving it around in the air. Noticed certain random positions, vertical orientations and such produce higher interference than others.

Is this for sure the E10 amp? Could it be the headphones (hard for me to test, given the position of my PC)? I was under the impression that the E10 housing of the unit was made for anti-interference?

If you guys have any suggestions or comments, I'd greatly appreciate them.

I don't have E10, but I have E11 which is very similar in terms of amplifier.  The problem is not uncommon.  I don't believe they adequately shielded the amp against RFI/EMI interference, despite the half-clad aluminum shell. It seems to be mostly the jack that picks up the EMI as evidenced by the changing sound as you change the amplifiers orientation.

Unfortunately, I think it's just the nature of the beast unless you can move it away from the RFI emitting source.

I've found that moving the amp around only lightens the trickling sound. It's now sitting on top of my PC, which is under my glass desk (router sits on top of desk). I can only remove it completely if I unplug the router or physically touch the E10. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
