When will firmware updates for DM13 be available on the FiiO website support section?

I want to connect the player to my amp and use the volume boost from the amp only. I'm using a 3.5mm line out, but the volume boost from the player still works. I want it to be pure line output. Is there an option or do I have to increase and decrease the volume from the player first and then from the amplifier

Yes, you can increase the Volume to 99 and then output to you AMP

Sorry, can not support USB-C digital Audio OUTPUT, Only support record to USB-C storage
Ok, thanks. Can you then suggest some cable Coaxial output from DM13 to USB-C input in external DAC?

And I have another question - how can I check the charging level of the battery? It was charging all night and my power bank shows almost 0 percent of energy passed to DM13, and it still shows like it is charging the DM13.

Thanks.

Because in this device that I wanted to use as DAC - Cayin N7 there is no coaxial input.

Regarding cable - I have only found something like this. Don't know if it will work or not.

No way... Firstly this is a USB to Coaxial (3.5mm in fact) SPDIF cable, and not Coax-to-USB, and second, this is a tweak of Hiby in order to have a Coax SPDIF output on a USB-C connector, a proprietary thing from this brand...
In short; hiby uses some free pins on USB-C connector in order to save space and/or money in their design.

To transform SPDIF into USB you'll need far more complicated electronics, like :
https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/digital-interfaces/ur23-converter-spdif-optical-to-usb-p-15612.html
But the device needs to be "USB host" (i.e computer) in order to use is as an audio input, this won't probably work with the Cayin...

You'd rather use the DM13 standalone with its own DAC or find a mobile DAC with coax or optical SPDIF input :worried:

As the CS43198 is already a good DAC chip, I would personally opt for the simplest option; use the DM13 standalone...

I think you'd better check if your DAC is better than the CS43198, and if so, you can find a new wire

you can press shortly at the first button to check the battery charging level , if it shows BAT-5 , the battery if fully, and BAT-1 mean you should charging.

Thanks, but I have already bought DM13 ))
I've looked into this before, and one doesn't exists. To turn SPDIF signal into USB c audio output requires some level of process/clocking that a simple cord cannot do. The devices I've found are all designed to work with a computer to capture music, but not output audio signal. If you are hellbent on using a USB c only external dac, it will be more economical to just sell this and buy the Shanling CR60.
