@FiiO Willson
Is it possible to get the latest firmware for the Bluetooth model (black)? Thank you.
The black version we are selling now, is the V21 version (bluetooth version)

If you buy the black color, you can private message me and I will send you the V22-2 version (Bluetooth version)

The black version, produced after mid-December, will be a new version like the V22-2 :beerchug:

@FiiO Willson I've experienced some random skips lasting less than a second on a few CDs when using the DM13. Two of these happened on brand new CDs (Opeth's Blackwater Park and Megadeth's Rust in Peace 2004 remaster), also on a lightly scratched CD (Stereolab's Dots and Loops). Maybe it has something to do with the runtime of those albums nearing or exceeding 60 minutes? Hoping for a firmware update that will fix this issue:)

Sorry for late reply
The Bluetooth chipset of DM13 is QCC3040, We needed to choose a proven transmitter chip to accomplish the music, so this one was selected :beerchug:

We found a couple of users with this feedback that the sound jumps on CDs over 50 minutes, our engineers found the cause and exported the firmware for us to use for testing.

I think we will release it some time later.:beerchug:

@FiiO Willson,

Not sure how firmware updates work, but I'm holding off buying a unit until you, or others feel that the firmware is pretty solid and the "glitzes" have been minimized. Any feel for how close we are to getting the final update (final for now).

Thanks

Off to a difficult start. First glaring problem I noticed was, I couldn't discern the tiny words on CD covers anymore. Damn the old eyes.

Before anything else, in went Dark Side Of The Moon (aye, no debate there). Sat through the entire album and I'm happy to report gapless playback works without drama. No hissing, spitting, crackling or sputtering detected either.

It's a good start, rather liking it so far, but it's only been one hour with one album, so I reckon it's still too early to give a thumbs up and declare it all good. Not too enamoured with how unwieldy this thing is though. It's heftier than I had imagined. It really makes one appreciate how much music gear has evolved and how portable they've become.

Dear friend,

How to use the Bluetooth transmitting function of DM13?
1. After turning on the DM13, press the power button briefly to switch to “BLUE OUT” mode.
2. Long press the previous track button to enter pairing mode. Bluetooth headphone also needs to enter pairing mode. The two devices can be paired with each other automatically.
3. After successful pairing, DM13 will show the corresponding Bluetooth code and playback progress.

Best regards
