In the past few days I have been using BTR3K at work with FD5 and I have just remembered how good it is!

Very analogue sound that connects you with the music and you are lost onto endless pleasure.

This is one of the best FiiO products.
Some times less is more!
Dear friend,

Glad to hear about that.

Thanks for the feedback.

Best regards

Hello, I have a problem with the FiiO BTR3K in DAC mode (connecting to PC). If I set the volume on the FiiO BTR3K to the maximum, there is some noise/distortion heard on the headphones connected to the 2.5 mm balanced output (I tried different models). This can be heard especially when turning down the volume on the source (PC).

This is not audible (or minimally) at the 3.5 mm output.

Dear friend,

It may be the background noise. Is the sensitivity of your headphone high?
You could try to set the volume of the computer to max, and adjust the volume via the BTR3K instead for check?

Best regards

is there any plan to incorporate crossfeed into the software too?

Regards Wayne.

Does the Fiio BTR5 support Dolby Atmos?

I recently got my btr5 and wanted to try it out with Apple Music Atmos. I tried everything that came to my mind but nothing worked. I tried to set the fiio to usb 1 wired on my mac but no luck. Any advice? will it be fixable with an update? my filmware is 2.1

Dear friend,

Do you mean that you would like to try the latest 192k support in the Apple music app?

Which device are you using with the BTR5? If you are using iPhone, you could follow the help in this video to set in your iPhone first:

And the BTR5 should set to USB2.0 mode instead.

Best regards

Hi FiiO and FiiO fans, is there any concern with charging BTR3k with a phone charger? I have been using my PC USB port to recharge the device, but have used a wall charger in a pinch a couple of times. I'm still enjoying this unit very much and don't want to harm it so thought I'd ask!

I use a 5V 1A charger on all my Bluetooth devices - no issues.

Thanks. I figure it's probably alright but wanted to double check. I've got a 1.5A and a 2.0A quick charge that I alternate between, so was a little worried. The manual doesn't actually list any specs for charge input requirements or what the actual battery capacity is.

FIIO BTR3K has a 330mAh battery - scroll down at https://fiio.com/btr3k for the full list of parameters.

I checked my charger - it's actually 2A 5V, so you are safe.
I do avoid using the 2A 9V/1.5A 12V port on it though - even if it is capable of 2A 5V output too. Better safe than sorry.
This is my model - https://www.aukey.life/products/pa-t1-54w-5-usb-port-qualcomm-quick-charge-2-0-desktop-charger

Dear friend,

Theoretically, the charger for phone could charge the BTR3K as well. And the recommended charger is the 5V 2A one.

I seem to have lost my ES100 and need a replacement. I generally use an iPhone or watch TV using an AppleTV.
2 questions:
1 - how is audio lag for TV watching?
2 - how functional is the FiiO app? I really liked the EQ function of the Radsone app?
