Same for me. Still on 0.41. no notification of new update to 0.51. Fiiiiiooooooo..... Software is really not your strong point. Too bad for a promising device but the software is so disappointing. And I'm not the only one saying it. I was dissuaded from taking it on day one on my discord. But hey, as I wanted to test a bluetooth dongle as complete with the hardware of the ka17, which I like, but which is not without its flaws, particularly because of the software aspect The btr17 already corrects a rather annoying point of the ka17, it is the management of the heating.Well helped by its larger size facilitates heat dissipation. But hey, that doesn't excuse wonky bugs like the whimsical battery indicator, or the application not optimized enough. Forced to go through the fiio site to have the latest version. You're losing customers and that's a shame because the products sound good.I'm waiting for a real reaction from fiio with a saving update otherwise I think the btr17 will be the last product I buy from fiio... And I bought some products from fiio but after a while, I don't want to be frustrated by stupid things anymore

Là My battery indicator still at 0% after a little over 2 hours of listening in ldac. I have distortion too, it's very low but it can be heard with the music off. Still in bluetooth these observations.I will check if this happens in USB mode
Mine doesn't move from 40%, not after fully charged powered off nor after hours of use 😅

Have you done a full drain/full charge and a factory reset?

For the distortion problem, for me it only happens in bluetooth and ldac, with 32bit sampling. It's like that by default on my s20fe. When I go to the developer menu, and that I put in 24 bits instead of 32, I no longer have this problem. We should see if that solves the problem in general or if it is just for me. For those who have the problem

Nobody is interested in your drama; conversation is reported.
--------------------------

I am interested if anyone have any info on how / when BTR17 will / could be called stable ? I am very interested in this device but, honestly, I do not want to be a beta tester.

Ask @FiiO No one has any insider info here.

The problem with the battery gauge seems to be resolved for the moment.I recharged the BTR17 and put the battery protection in the menu of the FiiO application.Perhaps the fact of discharging it completely causes the problem indicating the load level.I no longer have Bluetooth distortion by selecting the sampling at 24bits instead of 32 by default on my phone. If it works like that then it's already very good, hoping for a quick update

The options in FiiO Control for this device are quite limited, but I'm confident that will change on a future update
I really hope so, because being able to change a track with clicking, the wheel would be amazing
