Lots of things to love in these roadmap posts :

* S13 looks great but tough competition from the WiiM Ultra - but I would guess with Android and in that form factor with a nice "launcher" for the different streaming apps it would be a great desktop device - but it would be great if FiiO started to support things like Tidal Connect, Spofify Connect beyond Roon, DLNA
* EH11 what looks like a wireless ANC version of the FT1 :D if the ANC performance is as good as the comfort and sound quality of the FT1 this could really shake up the Wireless ANC market - high level details here https://earl4proxyvoting.com/2025-new-wirelessheadphones/
* SP5 could also be excellent (if the bass extension works well) but I would to see something with a sub-woofer output and a configurable HPF on the main speaker
* SA1 I like the wood finish more details on these https://earl4proxyvoting.com/2025-new-speaker/
* FX17 also seem like it might be a very impressive IEM with a proper high end configuration 1DD+4BA+8EST

Overall it looking like another great year with a very impressive roadmap of products.

You're certainly not alone. It may be the category I'm most anticipating from the list. That and the floor-standing speakers mentioned in the same paragraph. Can't wait to see what they have in store.

② HIFI Portable Bluetooth DAC and Headphone Amplifier

2024 was a major year for FIIO’s Bluetooth DAC/Amps, with the launch of a total of four models: BTR11, BTR13, BTR17, and RETRO NANO. Together with the BTR15, they formed a strong HiFi Bluetooth DAC/amp lineup, further solidifying FIIO’s position as a global leader in this field.

2025, on the other hand, will be a smaller year for Bluetooth DAC/Amps. Due to the discontinuation of the Q series, we will expand the product line upward by introducing the BTR19 as our new flagship model.
The new flagship model will feature significant innovations in form factor, functionality, performance, and sound quality. However, its size and weight will remain controlled to maintain the compact nature of the BTR series.

Apart from the BTR19, if resources allow, we may develop a special edition using the same platform and design. This has not yet been finalized, but if it moves forward, it could be either an R2R version of the BTR19 or a tube version of the BTR19 to meet the needs of audiophiles who prioritize sound characteristics.
The attached image is a concept design of the BTR19. The project is still in its early conceptual stage, so this is just to show that FIIO is truly making an effort, not simply repeating past designs but aiming to bring innovation to our users. We also welcome feedback on this industrial design.

Additionally, if you have any suggestions or feature requests for the BTR19, please feel free to share them. Since we have not yet officially initiated the project, the product’s functions and design have not been finalized, which means there is still time to modify or add features based on user feedback.

Currently, we aim to launch the BTR19 around November, with an expected price close to 300 USD.

What DAC converters does BRT19 have?

If that's a legit product shot of the upcoming class-A amp from FiiO.... even better if the VU meter is an actual VU meter and not volume-dependent.

As I mentioned this below in the JM21 thread I thought it warranted a mention here with regard to headphone output on your portable player designs, please redesign/move the headphone output to the bottom of the player as it is far more ergonomic in use.

Do this and I may consider a Fiio player as I’d never consider using a player with top mount for headphones

Did you consider the FiiO M11 Plus? All the headphone jacks are at the bottom. FiiO only recently moved them to the top of their Dap's to accommodate the second USB C port for desktop mode in most cases at least.

Thank you very much for all the product updates; they're really insightful.

If you can include an SD card reader and suitable navigation screen on the BTR19, that would be an absolute winner for me. I am using the Quloos MUB1 as my main "small" portable DAC/amp, and it's the key feature I feel is missing. I don't want to rely on my phone as a source all the time, but equally don't always want to use a larger DAP. A smaller DAC/amp such as BTR19 that doesn't require any external connection for music, whilst prioritising excellent sound quality and sufficient power for more challenging IEMs, would be perfect.

⑤ Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifiers and Peripheral Products

In 2024, FIIO’s newly launched products such as the K19, K17, and K11R2R received great recognition. In 2025, FIIO will introduce even more distinctive, aesthetically pleasing, and powerful new products, including:

1. New Mid-range Desktop DAC/Amp K13 R2R
This product is priced at around 300 USD and is planned for release around June. From the model name, you can tell that it features FIIO’s self-developed R2R DAC circuit.

After the launch of K11 R2R, it gained widespread popularity, and many users requested a higher-end model based on R2R technology. The K13 R2R was developed to meet the demand for higher power output, more features, and more connectivity options. I believe this product will be as well-received as the previous K11 R2R.

2. New Mid-to-High-End Desktop DAC/Amp K15
Positioned between 400~550 USD, this model fills a gap in our product lineup to meet the needs of different user levels. It is expected to be launched around June.

The K15 adopts the same design and structure as the K17, but the main differences are that it uses a switching power supply, and a more cost-effective DAC chip, while removing the expensive ADI independent DSP chip.

3. High-End Desktop Bluetooth Receiver BR15
Currently, FIIO offers two desktop Bluetooth receivers, the entry-level BR13 and BTA30 PRO that was released years ago. As Bluetooth technology is advancing rapidly, we have planned a higher-end desktop Bluetooth receiver, BR15.

The BR15 will feature a display screen for an improved user experience and will utilize Qualcomm’s flagship QCC5181 chip, supporting aptX Lossless and other high-quality Bluetooth codecs.

The BR15 is expected to launch around October with an estimated price of around 200 USD. It will also support XLR balanced output, making it particularly suitable for adding lossless Bluetooth reception to desktop HiFi systems.

4. High-End Desktop Bluetooth Transmitter BT15
Unlike our previous plan, the BTA30 PRO is a combined transmitter and receiver, which means its built-in DAC is redundant for users who only need transmission. Therefore, we have planned a high-end desktop Bluetooth transmitter, helping users save on unnecessary costs.

The BT15 is also expected to launch around October, with a price of around 150 USD.

5. New R2R + Tube Amplified Balanced Output Pure DAC – WARMER
This is likely FIIO’s first product featuring vacuum tubes. It has a retro design with two large VU meters, giving it an extremely strong vintage aesthetic from the inside out.

If you have a particular preference for analog systems and the warm sound of vacuum tubes, this product is worth looking forward to. However, its sound signature is quite bold, and we are uncertain whether it will suit most users.

By the way, this product uses imported Czech vacuum tubes, with genuine high-voltage power supply and a classic circuit design, ensuring an authentic and traditional tube timbre.

6. New Linear Power Supply PL70
This product is a HiFi-grade, ultra-low-noise precision linear power supply, designed for FIIO devices with external power inputs. It has a rated output of 70W and is a significant upgrade over the PL50 in both performance and aesthetics, blending better with FIIO’s current product lineup.

It is compatible with FIIO’s K11, K11 R2R, K7, K13 R2R, K17, M17, M27, M15S, M25, etc. Of course, this product won’t have large sales volumes, as it primarily caters to our existing users’ needs.

In addition to the models mentioned above, if we have the energy and resources, we might also consider developing a genuine Class A headphone amplifier. The main reason is that truly authentic Class A headphone amplifiers are quite rare nowadays, and we suspect most consumers have never experienced one, making them easily misled by marketing buzzwords. Genuine Class A amplifiers, due to their low efficiency and significant heat generation, have high costs. They have actually fallen out of popularity since we entered the industry decades ago. However, "Class A" remains a term often exploited for marketing purposes. Therefore, we thought it would be interesting for FIIO to create one, to show everyone what a truly classic Class A headphone amplifier is really like.

As for currently available models such as the K5 PRO, K7, K11, K11 R2R, K19, PL50, and SR11, they will continue regular production and sales.

Attached is a rendering picture of the WARMER, which some users may have already seen in previous concept designs.

Interesting...so it sounds like the "Warmer" R2R DAC + tube output is a dedicated DAC only (with no headphone or pre-amp stage). FiiO doesn't typically make purist pieces, so I welcome this new era!

Is there a possibility of a transmitter and bluetooth/dac amp that supports bluetooth LC3+/LE audio?

Many gaming headsets are now using Bluetooth LE audio (e.g Audeze maxwell) instead of a custom 2.4ghz protocol because it is low latency while preserving sound quality.
If we could have a dac/amp and transmitter that supports LE audio we could turn any headphone we like into nice wireless low latency headphone for gaming, movies and music.
Almost nothing on the market exists right now.
