I am still puzzled about the volume wheel on top, looks like you might be able to lock it so you won’t accidentally turn it up. That’s why I prefer depressed volume buttons, no need to lock or accidentally hit the deaf button. Secondly they could have dropped the fancy wooden walnut box, totally unnecessary and most likely a little cheaper if not provided.

Some of you people would get on really well with my 8 year old. He gets a couple of lego gifts for.Christmas that he loves. Two days later he wants another one

Maybe we could all wait for the m19 and pair it with the iphone 14 that some of us are holding off for too. Maybe by them we will be on a 6g network with bluetooth 7.0

What headphones is your 8 year old listening to?

It is flagship, and so wooden box provides a more luxurious feeling. But I agree with you here. That wooden box wouldn’t cost a crazy amount, but that money could better be spending else where.

Wooden box may be useful in Finland, Minnesota, Siberia, or Canada when power grid fails- something else to burn in the fire so you don't freeze :)
