Only issueni have with the spiral dots is that it does not noise isolate as well as the comply tips. But on the other hand my ears are wierd

That's ok for me, I'll just use the Comply T-400 when going out. Thanks Oh and I'm sure you got more info on PITA than you expected.

UE600 tips were selling yesterday on ebay. All gone suddenly :S

I'm actually quite happy with the Comply T400. It's funny when I tried the Comply that was included (T400 medium) it wasn't right, a few days later I tried the T400 Lg. and it made all the difference in the world. I ordered some spiral dots to try which I should have Monday so I'll see how they work. I'm completely in love with the sound so I want to squeeze every drop out of these.
 
Can the UE's be purchased as replacements?

They're quite good at improving midrange coherency and keeping the upper midrange smoother or more refined. If A83 has a down side it's that it can sometimes be grainy or aggressive in the upper mids which leads to fatigue.

Maybe someone can find some other UE tips. =)

Hmm. So I wonder if UE900 tips are the same as 600/700?

Someone stated that the comply foam tips make the sound muffled. But noise isolation is better but overall quality on sound is better on spiral dots

I like the foam tips as well than the silicon, they don't muffle the sound at all, i guess it really depends on the ears, i get hot spots when using silicon, however foam tips don't last :k

Currently i use spiral tips when i am at home and use the comfly foam at work or when im out to isolate sound.

My ears are funky anyway so i can never get the right fit.
