After 5days of listening, I must say, I love the 1.2.....so definitely I will think of upgrading! :) but indeed, fit is sometimes a bit problematic. Nothing to die of.....but could have been better.

If you do the math, you will see that it will not be $100 even:

$499 (ASG-2) x 25% off (the discount offered back in Dec) - $299 (ASG-1) = $75.25

Of course, the above estimation hinges upon on whether Dale is going to keep his promise (remember when he asked the early adapters to keep their ASG-1s because there would be an even better deal coming?).

If it's less, I'm down :p  If it's more, we'll see

I think you are misunderstanding. Aurisonics said it would be a better deal, so you gotta take a look at the deal for the ASG-2's during the sale. I would assume Aurisonics meant it was less than ( $75.25 + $299 = $499 * 25% = ) $374.25. Anything less than $375 is basically considered a better deal than buying a new set outright during the sale. But who knows, you may get the $75 pricing you are hoping for.

I think kenman345 is a bit closer to the meaning of what I said. Stay tuned next week you will know for sure.

Between Musica Acoustics and Aurisonics, I'm bummed I won't be able to attend. There's a good number of phones at the meet that I'd love to be able to audition

Got my ASG-2 on Monday, but unfortunately I'm struggeling with fit issues - can't get good seal with the provided tips. Will have to find some other tips, but Andy is so nice to help me out with that.

If it has the same nozzle as the ASG-1 Rev. 1.3, you should try Comply TS-400 tips, they really help the fit and the seal.
