I've searched far and wide but can't seem to find much mention about female 3.5 mm inline jack at best that there aren't any good ones out there or few???

So is that really the case

I'd prefer not resort to getting a pcb mount one and heatshrink it

So far Calrad's seem like the best option to me ...

Go to www.btx.com and look for part number CA-C4408LK. I prefer it to the Calrad connector - it puts a death grip on the plug and looks very nice. Don't let the screw threads on the end of it fool you, it doesn't need a special plug to work.

BTW, this ground has been covered before - you can use the search function to see other recommendations.

Thanks for the recommendation.

It has been brought up a few times but the answers never really seemed clear .... just wanted to double check or maybe I should have brought back up a dead thread
