Is Euphoria worth $400 more compared to the Elsie with the PsVane tube upgrade?

How do the two above amps compare to what I've been using?

My primary headphone amps has been the Mapletree Ear + HD along with a Garage 1217 Sunrise III. My headphones have been a pair of modified Grado / Alessandro Music Pro with distancers & GS1000 jumbo ear pads. My recent addition of a pair of AKG K7xx & Sennheiser HD6xx from Massdrop has started me on a quest for something new.

I've been watching the Feliks Elsie for some time and recently found the Head-Fi post on the Euphoria and am working my way through it. Lots of good info here and some interesting personalities.

Ultimately I'd like to end up with either the Elsie or the Euphoria and the Sennheiser HD800S and the BeyerDynamic T1 's.

If you can afford the extra $400.00, the Euforia is a major upgrade.

The Elise is a great amp but the Euforia is on another level

If someone can take some pictures of the inside of Elise and Euforia, then we will learn the real difference between the two. :)

Someone else on the HF forums has addressed this. If I understand it correctly there are some proprietary circuits or wiring arrays that may be protected by patents. I have seen some pics of the Elsie only and there were areas that were fuzzed out to keep its secrets secret.

Any chance you can elaborate a bit? I'm making a similar decision myself, and I've read conflicting info. I'm specifically interested in knowing if the Euforia retains the "warm" and "fun" feelings that tube amps are known for. Everyone says the Euforia is more detailed than the Elise, but I can't find any consensus on whether it retains the warmth. This will be paired with Beyer T1.2's, if it makes any difference.

Thanks!
