Hey everyone,
I was just comparing my headphones with my friends' ipod earbuds (both the original and the revised earbuds). I hate to say that the iBuds are generally more balanced than my EC7. More bass and a warmer mid. Not bad at all. However, the clarity of the mids and highs are no match. Considering that the EC7 are going for $100 plus at amazon, I expected more...
Nonetheless, I was wondering how the bass response of the EC7 is supposed to be. I read reviews of the B&O A8 and EC7 and they all say that bass is there but not TOO much. For me, I hear NOTHING. Barely the bass guitar, kick drum sounds like an anemic thwack. I have to boost on iTunes the 64hz range +8 or 9 db, with the 125hz range to +3-4db. It maintains the clarity of the mids and highs fortunately.
Anyone still have the EC7? Care to comment on this?
