Any of you guys are using ibasso dx160 with S8F? I'd appreciate some info on this synergy.

Need some advice here.
I've been using the Roland with iBasso DC02 on my OnePlus 6T (UAPP). Just to see how it responded to DAPs, I tried it with Shanling M0 and Astell&Kern - A&norma SR15 players. Somehow, I find the output on OnePlus 6T with iBasso DC02 clearer, louder and with more separation than the DAPs. Is this to be expected?

The dco2 has an output impedance of 2.2 according to AmirM. It is probably causing some shift on sound with the Roland being only 5.8Ω. (ideal source output impedance for it would an eigth of that. So 0.725 or less)
The Shanling M0 is only an output impedance of 0.16. It is a much more suitable setup.
Either you are enjoying the shift in sound. And/Or you like the harsh/cold tonality of DC02.
Do what you like.

My cable was crap (first left type). Kept dropping a channel. Had to buy an after market cable as too much hassle to bother with a warranty replacement from Europe.Very good synergy with a clear & lively presentation overall. Extremely engaging with holographic stage.
On a sidenote, glad to see Fearless keeps improving the jack.

Fearless Audio Hyers IEM with 12 BAs a side....has anyone heard it?
I’m new to Fearless stuff, whats the best sounding close to neutral, a balanced sound with awesome low end. I’m a ex-drummer and for me the sound signature or however it’s labeled has to have excellent kick drum sound?
I’m looking at Fearless, QDC and Others for next buy...is one manufacturer clearly better when looking around $1000 market?

Brands are different not better from each other to me. For example you want a bright neutral signature? Look at Tin Hifi. you want harman? Look at Moondrop or you want Bass? Look at TFZ or Audiosense.Fearless Audio Hyers IEM with 12 BAs a side....has anyone heard it?

I own the S8P which was known for its audiophile tuning, until the S8Z came out with a more neutral sound. The S8P is mildly v-shaped in comparison, can vouch for awesome low end on them.
For all who owns the Roland and want to get more light into this darkness .....
i tried a lot of cables tips and EQ settings and ended up with :
MoonAudio Silver Dragon V1 . Spin Fit CP145 and EQ -2,5db 4k and +6db 8-16k.
enjoy the music

Hovering over the 'buy' button of S8F.
The only lingering doubt I have is my DAP. Hiby R6. Original not PRO.
The S8F has 26 ohm impedance so it *should* be OK but - does anyone have 1st hand experience of the pairing/synergy?
Tidal and on board FLAC is the source. Single ended 3.5mm only.

Tried the s8z today and I think I still liked S8f better. Did anybody feel like the treble is a bit hot on the s8z?
