FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions

@
KPzypher you see. I knew Z1r would be your taste. Anyways, No matter how good a iem is, my hifiman susvara and my $20,000 dac amp will blow all these iem out of the water in sound quality. There is just so much an iem can excel due to space and physical limitations. I am getting into the iem hobby because of its portability and its amazing how such a small little m&m size thing can produce pretty great sound, but it's still nowhere near the sound from my susvara and amp setup.

Full size can is out of the question for me. I can't wear them for a prolonged period due to neck pain/headache + can't wear them to bed. I'm also frequent flyer. So i'm 100% about portability.

@warriorpoet. No worries, bottom line we all only live once and just enjoy life and experience and try new things. Everyone have different taste and doesn't mean any product is bad or good. Honestly i like the roland after i listen to them more and starting to enjoy its sound signature. Again this is a journey where we must try new stuff to see what we like or dislike. Cheers.

What was it that you dint like sound wise? I'm looking at the Roland, Solaris, Noble Kahn and the Roland seemed like the front runner for me
If you are treble head like me:smirk_cat:, then Solaris is not in the same league with Khan & Roland. No BA treble can be (even Sony's magnesium super twitter). IMHO my Legend X is not in the same league in treble dept.:vulcan:

Has anyone compared the Noble Khan to the Roland (although in a street fight no way a dude named Roland has a chance against a KHAN). Or a EE Valkrye vs Roland. And why is it named Roland again? Although I do love Sonny Roland, smooth Jazz Sax for sure!
back on point, any comparisons would be appreciated as I'm narrowing it down!

I hope you compare it to CL2 in its thread. Looking forward to that. But I noticed, you are still curious about Roland, why?

I just love to listen to new things. Never expected to find "home," really, but Roland surprised me. Now to try new flavors- it's fun to get out of the house

Against Khan? Probably not. I would go for Khan, but its shape is not for my ears, also it's vented and costs at least double. As for Valkyrie, it's (by pure extrapolation from LX and Roland) - more energetic and more V. It was my first choice until Roland showed up.
And by the way, Roland is suitable name IMHO. Refined, smooth, precise, not muscular & aggressive like LX.

This pretty much describes where I am now. The only possible improvement would be - same FR curve but more technical performance, perhaps no BA like in the new IMR Rah:thinking:

I returned my Roland today. I had to eat up the shipping cost, but all good. I'm just glad to get them out of my hands. Well, looks like Fearless is at least moving in the right direction. For those of you with Roland, hope you guys are well compensated. And for the new owners, I hope you guys like the product. It's a lot of money to be dissatisfied. Personally, even without all the defects, the sound wasn't for me. Now I got my eyes on LX and Percivali :L3000: Enjoy!!!

Get the LX and get Thor silver 2 for it . Find pease and your home :) it’s the best combo I’ve heard till today :)
