Hip hop is my main genre, but i am really picky aka i listen to the classics and what most would call "alternative hip hop", it's way too hard to pick a few when i have dozens of favorites. 80s, 90s and the first half of the 00's was the best hip hop imo, the past 5 years have been mostly garbage aside from the classic artists who continue to release great albums.
