If we're talking favorite item/object then it would have to be my Audi S4. If we're talking thing to do it would be to wander aimlessly around a foreign city with no particular time table (doubly so now that I have my XSi), or to go for a drive at 2 am on a warm summer night with the windows down and an empty highway with only the music of my burbling V8. I don't consider sentient beings things (though I do love women).
