All... time... favorite... songs...? *head explode*
All time 30 albums would be hard enough!!!

But five songs I think are really awesome right now:

"Frontier Psychiatrist" - Avalanches
"Loomer" - My Bloody Valentine
"Summer Babe" - Pavement
"The Tallest Man, The Broadest Shoulders" - Sufjan Stevens
"Singapore" - Tom Waits

Top 5 of all time? Theres a crushingly impossible task. Baed on what merit? Playcount, bliss? recognition of amazingness?

I suppose that these 5 would definately be contenders for me:

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - East Hastings
Mike Oldfield - Amarok
Jean-Michel Jarre - Ethicolour 1
Pink Floyd - Echoes
Woob - On Earth

And yeah, the shortest track there is 11:47 long.

I remember back in college, I had copied LOVELESS on one side of a tape and SLANTED AND ENCHANTED on the other. Both were new and incredible albums that twisted my musical brain in ways it had never been twisted before. Life was good.

i actually made myself a mixed cd called "Bong's Desert Island Disc" with all my favourite songs, as many songs as i can fit on one 80min disc... all five are in it.
