What's your favorite SNL quote or sketch? I have many, but my favorite is easily the following:

"...and I will be doing myself a disservice if I don't play the hell outta this!"

Will Ferrell playing the COWBELL in SNL's version of VH1's Behind the Music Blue Oyster Cult. Christopher Walken serves as the quirky producer at the recording session for Don't Fear the Reaper and keeps on insisting "It needs more cowbell!"

Dan Akroyd as Irvan Mainway selling kids toys such as:

Johnny Switchblade Adventure Punk [a doll with switchblades in the hands]

Johnny Invisible Pedestrain [completely black halloween costume]

Johnny Human Torch [gas-soaked rags and a lighter]

Bag o' Broken Glass [Vipers, Sulphuric Acid, etc]

For me probably the John Mclaughlin talk show parody with Frank Sinatra (played by Phil Hartman), with Sting, Sinead O'Conner (I forget who played her), and a rapper (played by Chris Rock).

Funny, funny s#it

That one is hilarious. (Sinatra looking at Sinead) "When I look at you I think CUE BALL in the corner pocket!"

The Sinatra/Wonder spoof of "Ebony and Ivory"

Anything with Chris Farley doing Matt Foley, the motivational speaker

"Your mother sews socks that smell!!!"
The exorcist spoof with Richard Prior.
It rhymes with a famous line from the movie.

I saw that the night it came out way back when and almost died laughing.

It was pretty outrageous at the time.

Absolutely! That's the one I was thinking of too. Sting playing Billy Idol, with that sneer, Mike Meyers & Victoria Jackson as Steve & Edie, Jan Hooks playing the morose Sinead.

"Kick his ass Steve". "OK, Frank!"

Too funny
