Tough to narrow down to just ONE, there are so many good movies available! And movies, like music, are so dependant on the mood that you're in. Anyway, here are a couple of my favs...

2001
Life of Brian
Willy Wonka (I know, not the correct title)
Tommy Boy (that's gonna leave a mark!)
The Manchurian Candidate
Predator
Marathon Man (Is it safe?)
Caddyshack
National Lampoon's Vacation

Something new that just grabbed me: Training Day. Denzel is a terrific actor.

Off the top of my head...

The Usual Suspects, great acting and a twisted plot.

Memento, great plot and confusing as hell but the more you watch it, the more you will reveal.

Final Destination, something about that movie that creeps me out everytime when i watch it (first time i watched it was a rainy night by myself with lights off, maybe that's why.)

I have to cast my vote for Donnie Darko, definitely one to remember.

And Manchurian Candidate as well.

And for something that people haven't mentioned...Brazil, it's a peculiar one for sure..."visually dense", is what I'd call it. Like 12 Monkeys (good movie as well), it's also due to Terry Gilliam's influence.

The Princess Bride is one of my all-time-favorites, because it's so well-done, and achieves what (I think) it's going for nicely.
