Most of mine favs have been posted already, however one that has not and is likely the best recorded live concert of all time is Harry Belafonte Live at Carnegie Hall.

If you have not had the pleasure of having a listen, to yourself a favour and search it out. Apparently the German release on CD is the one to get or an original or quadriphonic on LP.

Richard Thompson “Two Letter Words” (RT is the consummate live showman)

Zappa “The Best Band You Never Heard in Your Life” (Ravel would be proud of FZ's "Bolero" arrangement)

Yes “Keys to Ascension” (The versions of “The Revealing Science of God” and “Awaken” are incredible)

King Crimson “The Great Deceiver” (four discs of fierce energy)

If these don’t get your twanger plunking, you surely are dead!

I had to check to see if I had already posted in this thread, because I remember doing this before. I don't know what I said then, but off the top of my head, not intending to produce an all inclusive list, my favorite live albums include...

"Waiting For Columbus" - Little Feat
"Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" - The Rolling Stones
"4-Way Street" - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
"Live From The American Ballroom" - Donna The Buffalo

Found that previous thread...

Cream - Reunion Concert 2005 Royal Albert Hall

Can't believe no one has posted this yet. Maybe it only comes on DVD??

Anyhow, spectacular production quality and some of Clapton's best licks of all time.
