Fanboy alert:

Beyer DT990. Fun as hell, but with a V-sound. Its detail and balance, though, makes it as close to reference as a V-sound will get.

I think he means a headphone that's musical and fun, but not necessarily neutral, accurate, etc.

the HD650, it's not up there with the top "reference" cans, but it does sound pretty euphonic.

...and yeah, like Stewgriff said, overly pleasing, overly harmonically distorted, non-neutral sound.

I already got K-701 for editing/reference work.

HD650 and Grados and Koss - agree with most everyone else.

First time that has happened this year.

The HD650, of course. But it also makes a good reference because of its neutrality.

hey, is that an Ibanez Artist? I have that same guitar! I don't have the RS-1's yet, though - but perhaps someday.

as far as fun is concerned, I get a kick out of my KSC-75's - a cheap thrill.
