Yeah, I’ve seen some great reviews on the BabyFreqs. Plus the B1G1 offer makes them a good steal. Just sell one and you only pay half the price haha
Likewise.. had a friend who tried the babyfreq and she said it performs really well for the price point! But this offer just takes things to another level.. or you can just use 2 for yourself? Hahaha

It is a genuinely tempting offer ngl.
You can gift one to a friend and maybe they might also get sucked into the hobby xD

Legit curious: Has FF actually canceled anyone's orders after a dispute, or do they always ship to contest?
I got a message back from my credit card that I had been credited, and then a day later I got an email from Fat Freq that contained I think the standard message that everyone would get from customer service about the magnets in the box or whatever. But nothing showing my order cancelled. So it seems like they just sent that message and then noticed the chargeback and just cut off any updates.

Edit: Hilariously the waybill was finally shown as collected this morning, 50 days after it was originally created. If the thing does actually ship I'll gladly pay for it, but I'm no longer particularly excited about it.

I seldom write reviews or make comments. I leave that to those of you who know what you are talking about. However, after purchasing the Grand Maestro Anniversary editions from a fellow head-fier, I feel compelled to share my experience. Over the years, I've owned and cycled through numerous IEMs as my sound preferences have evolved, but these are keepers. After experimenting with different tips and finding my favorite, I can't stop listening. The technical prowess is off the charts. I'm hearing fine details that I never noticed with the rest of my collection. For the first time, I'm experiencing a level of detail in an IEM that rivals my Utopias. Every “scratch” on the snare and every “ting” of the cymbal is vividly present, making for an immensely enjoyable listening experience.

I love bass, and I've owned other highly-regarded IEMs known for their bass, like the Evo's and the Z1r. These are an evolution. The bass has weight, slam, rumble, and texture, without bleeding into the sweet mids. These are my first IEMs with electrostatic drivers for the highs, and although I've read that they are notoriously difficult to tune, I can't imagine better tuning. As i've gotten older, I find myself liking a bit more zing in the upper register. I don’t have other IEMs with this configuration for comparison, but honestly, I can't find anything to critique. In the end, it's about enjoying the music, which I’m doing with immense satisfaction. Cheers to you all on this audio journey.

Happy for you, brother!

May I just clarify if you already have the Grand Maestro Anniversary on hand? Just curious since I believe it wasn't officially launched yet.

Thank you!

Hmm. Maybe they aren’t the anniversary editions then. They came with a gold cable, as well as wood presentation box. I could be wrong.

Thank you for confirming. Yes, that is the non-LE Grand Maestro. Nonetheless, I agree that it is such a truly amazing iem. I’m genuinely curious why it hasn’t gained that much popularity in Watercooler.

Wait till you try the actual Grand Maestro Anniversary.

Yup you have the standard GM. Also, I'd suggest using the upgraded GPS cable. It's incredible sonically.

I have the Grand Maestro Anniversary cable and I still prefer the GPS cable.

Probably because it's hard to find, long lead times, fits horribly for many people, and thus leads to poor sound reproduction.

GM in its truest sound is it's CIEM form, but obviously not many will blind buy a 3k USD ciem.

I agree. Regarding the fit, I’ve read that the GMA has generally better fit. Unfortunately it is limited edition.

Thanks for helping me clarify. I didn’t know they weren’t popular. I read reviews for a few months before buying. I was considering the Volur, Novus and the XE6. I’m thinking about CanJam in February to take a listen. I can’t imagine IEM’s getting much better than these but the audio journey is never really over is it? lol

You’re welcome. Not that they weren’t popular, but personally I have noticed that they were not mentioned that much in other threads unlike its competitors (Cp622b, RN6, etc). But I agree with @SCYJ on the possible reasons for this.
