As a father of two small children (4 and 7), I usually yield to their entertainment choices while traveling in the family van. I usually line in
my video IPOD into a cheap video player. Got the usual Dora the Explorer,
Power Rangers, etc. at hand for them.
I recently found myself taking a trip, by myself, to my folks place in Fresno (about 2.5hr drive) in my very standard 99 Ford F-150 truck. Usually when this happens, I tend to listen to Sports radio all the way there. We are lucky
in the Bay Area that we have KNBR 680 AM which can transmit all the way to Fresno. But this particular trip was on a Sunday afternoon when KNBR broadcasts ESPN radio which I'm not the biggest fan of.
My truck has no line in for my IPOD so I was in the unfamiliar situation of grabbing a few CD's to listen to on this trip. So I resorted to grabbing CDs from my youth and just rocked out on the way down. This is what I grabbed:
Def Leppard - High N Dry
Scorpions - Animal Magnetism
AC/DC - Highway To Hell
Styx - Grand Illusion
Boston - Don't Look Back
If you were in a similar situation, what would you grab for your solo roadtrip?
