I have to start this post off by sending a hearty thanks in Orpheus' direction for sending me a gratis copy of his album, Falling to Dreams: Lost in the Land of Maerd S'Naed. I also have to admit that I haven't listened all the way through it - unfortunately, whenver I put it in, it's always so I can have something to listen to when I do homework. And I can never seem to concentrate on the homework - something about Orpheus' work wrenches my not-all-together-unwilling mind away from my work to float off in the land of musical enjoyment.
Oh, and the sheer intensity and energy of some of the tracks will test your amplifier's power output and bandwidth! This CD has become a permanent addition to my "CDs to use while auditioning" collection.
