My 3rd girlfriend (First being a certain someone and the second being Modern Warfare 2[although, i think i may be breaking that one off soon]), my K701s are very much a love-hate relationship.

At times.. they're beautiful

Certainly did

. Although i didn't spend too much time deciding, i saw some negative comments about them but went for them anyway. They're not bad, just for some reason i dont enjoy them -all- the time. My intentions of the topic wasn't to point out i dont like them. Just poking that i find it strange its not really a yay or nay thing.

I wouldn't recommend reading head-fi when deciding on a headphone. People here can barely agree on how something sounds

It's exactly the way I find them.

Only usable with the highest quality recordings and equipment.

If they are played from a tubeamp powerfull enough to take their pants down and give their behind a proper slapping - the K701 is pure love.

The worlds longest burn in and tubes......Never even seen a set of cans come close to changing so much over the long haul. My 2 cents.
