Fake Sennheiser IE8 sound quality

I bout Sennheiser IE8 and now I understand that they are fake.
My question is how is the sound quality compared to a genuine  Sennheiser IE8?
The fake is so good that it is amazing. it is hardly noticed. The pack and the Iem  lookalmost the same
Dose the sound quality is so close to?

in any case, how can anyone know how your fakes sound vs real ones given the amount of fakes being churned out by different people...

The fake IE8's I received sound nothing like my authentic ones - the bass is lacking and the sound is thin - I imagine if you didn't have the real ones to compare to, you might think they sounded good - but after the real thing, they are quite the disappointment.

Get the real one and compare them yourself. These kind of things are expensive, complicated things that fakes won't easily be as good as the real one, unlike football jerseys where fakes can be really comfortable compared to the original ones.

Fake doesn't necessary means worse sound, take Beats for example, IMHO the fake one sounds slightly better than the real one...
