Hey guys just picked up a new pair of ATH-M50's and am looking to buy an E6 + USB Hook-up to go with it. I came across this one on ebay.ca (I'm Canadian, Eh), for a decent price but it looked a little sketchy to me. Any thoughts on whether its legit?

'tha heck is sketchy about it? I'd guess there is too little profit margin on Fiio stuff to be worth faking, they are known for value per dollar after all. Just order from Amazon then.

Mp4 nation made a guide on how to recognize fakes. Be sure to read all the characteristics.

It's shocking to read that these relatively cheap stuffs are counterfeited as well

Damn that sucks its so damn expensive in CA! I got my E6 for $30 off Amazon. PS its the same exact price on Amazon and only 1 left in stock.

I too have the M50's and from what I've read ppl say they are fine without an amp but I prefer it with the E6, esp from my Clip Zip although that is thru 3.5mm not a line out

My E6 is a bit confusing, I got them from AcessoryJack.com, the USB port is flush on the plastic if not just a few millimeters deep. Nothing as deep as seen on the pictures. But the switch is thin stating that it is fake. The sticker inside the switch is slightly slanted but not as slanted as seen on the pictures. Also the clip hold is thick. Anyone have something similar or know if its a fake?
