Just received my FiiO FA7's, and after about 3 hours listening to them, I can say these remind me of my beloved Audeze LCD-2C's - and that's a compliment. I don't find the bass too much, just a bit warmer than neutral, but with enough detail. Vocals, and female, are well handled. High's maybe a tad rolled off, but it beat too hot in my opinion. And I find the fit and comfort level outstanding. I may be keeping them.....

I kept mine and found the fit the best of what I have ever tried. I alternate for music the fh5, fh7, sony mdr 1am2 powered by fiio q5. I ordered the fh3 and hope it ia a composit of the best of the fh5 and fa7.

Have you used the largest ear-tip available? It could be the size you have used was not large enough.

Sorry it's not my ears it is the fact that if the fit is loose on the iem stem it may get lodged in the ear after extraction

I had that problem with the DM6's. Their eartips came right off the stems, and one did in fact lodge in my ear (wife had to use tweezers to pull it out). Never had that issue with my FiiO FA7's. But I went on Amazon and spent $5 on a set of 5 small eartips (the size I use) and they fit the stem nice and tightly and I've had no issues since. So maybe try some aftermarket eartips......
