It it weren't for all the rule changes I'd say Michael is good for winning another two years at least.

Then he'll really be untouchable.

It seems that Michael could still win if Bernie makes him drive in a soapbox with a parachute open behind it. I'll pick Michael to win next year too. I hope Hakkinen comes back next year (in Coulthard's seat - I never liked that guy). It'll make for an exciting constructor's battle. Villeneuve is in a bad spot. His loyalty to that mickey mouse team has been overshadowed by his ridiculous contract extension (now expired) and his unpleasant attitude. Michael will not let him join his team - not as a test driver or lollipop man. I think Jacques is done in F1. Off to LeMans then.

One advantage (of perhaps many) Michael has over his opposition is he knows how to win, how to get himself in the right place at the right time, where as Montoya is still clueless. Kimi is closer, IMO, to becoming champ. Alonso is to new yet, and Ralf is very good, but not great. Just my opinion.

Now why does that sound so silly?

IMO allot of Michael's success is his relationship with the team. Ferrari's budget aside, you'll get no where unless you've got everyone on your side. Same goes for fighter and attack pilots. Ground crew and wrench turners are on a first name basis with the pilots and even have their names stenciled on the jets. When your life is literally in their hands day in and day out you want to know they are happy and where their heads are at.
