Extreme RC helicopter flying

This is really doing my head in. The video does look real, but some of the manuveres the chopper makes seem physically impossible. I need some advice!

Wow, what the hell!? That totally looks so fake, how can you even control a chopper like that? He must be able to tilt the rotor blades 360 degrees to get that kind of maneuverability. He has to turn them 180 to fly upside down.

I know nothing about flying a helipopter, but that was amazing. I lost track of the number of times I said "Holy S***" while I was watching the video. Totally amazing.

I can vouch first hand that that is all possible, I saw some guy doing crazy upside down spins with his thousand dollar RC helicopter. Way cool stuff.

I remember going to a R/C helicopter competition while i was in cascade idaho once. When flying upsiode down they try to get as close to the ground as possible without crashing. that is called 'mowing the lawn'

That guy is dam good! If i was in that thing, i'd need a case of barf bags

Yeah thats real. RC helis can do all kinds of things. They use 8+ channel radios.

Search youtube, there are a lot of vids there too.

I used to club-race RC cars with a guy who was a national heli pattern competitor. He had ~15 wrecked helis hanging in his garage, along with a bunch of slope planes too. Surprisingly he was not that good of an RC car pilot. I would "tailgate him" and just ride hin like that around the track. It would rack his nerves and he'd choke, giving up his position easily to me.

Haha, that is f'ing awesome! I can't believe it's real. It's weird cos at some points it looks almost like CGI since your brain can't accept such manuveres being possible. You could probably attach a bright light source to one of these things, fly it around at night and peeps will think it's a ufo.

That is pretty cool. How can it fly on it's tail like that? I do not know the dynamics of helicopter flight myself.

I went into a HobbyTown to look at RC planes and thought, "Who would spend that much money on a tiny plane." Then I got into audio.

Wow. He obviously flies for competition. Nobody could be that good just playin around. I'm sure if I tried that I'd cut my own face with the rotors trying to get out of the way.

RC heli's can do quite a bit more things than the full size ones.

yea, its REAL. It is call R/C heli 3D flying. Do a search and u should find heaps of info on that.
