I'm thinking about purchasing an AKG 701 soon, and I'd like to make sure it lasts a long time, so I'm wondering if anyone offers MACK warranties for headphones that would cover repairs and such, if any were needed.

I was fine with repairing my SR-80's, but the 701's are much more $, so a warranty would provide some piece of mind.

I bought a projector recently, and a third party offered warranties as long as they were purchased within the first 30 days after the projector was purchased. I guess I'm looking for something along those lines, so that I can buy the 701's from whomever I want.
