What if you left the RCA's connected to the Cosmic and unplugged from the source?

Well, that doesn't sound right.

I was trying to say the Cosmic would have a single connection to the BS for both power and source.

well i alternate between a portable with mini to rca's via a straightwire/headroom cable and an rca/rca pbj cable so i don't see any real options other than to plug/unplug the cable every time i move the amp to/from office

or i could get the base station and leave the straightwire cable connected and just plug in the base station and flip the toggle switch to external audio source.

i ASSume that i could leave the rca's connected and the amp wouldn't care and just get the source from the base station.
