Gang,
I've been looking for a how-to on the silver mods for the EX70lp. I can find lot's of folks talking about them, but no instructions on what they are exactly. Anyone?

I did do a search and came up with nothing..in fact I got the same thread that you pointed me to, but there is nothing there that I could find. I did try mailing him the other day and he does seem to be away

Weird. It looks like he deleted his first post on 6/25/03, but I have no idea why.

That was the post with the instructions. i can probably explain the mod from memory and look up the recommended tape to be used. (I have some spare lengths of the tape that I can probably spare if you can’t source it locally).

Not tonight, though. I’m winding down for the evening. Remind me during the week and I’ll write up a “step by step” for you.
