Eversolo Flagship DMP-A10 Streamer, DAP, DAC, and Preamp

Eversolo has announced a new Flagship Streamer, DAP, Dac and Preamp. The DMP-A10. Been following this one very closely. Didn't want to pollute the other eversolo threads with the Eversolo Flagship DMP-A10 info. Decided to start its own much deserve thread to Eversolo upcoming flagship streamer, dap, dac, preamp.

Looks like DMP-A10 is taking the baton from the DMP-A8 and taking it to the next level.

Will keep updating as I get more info on this streamer.

• The DMP-A10 will be getting unveiled fully at the Paris Audio Show 10.25
• The volume knob will have its own lcd screen, displaying album art.
• The Eversolo flagship will be using dual OCXO clocks, which is a substantial upgrade over the A8 Femto clocks

It would be nice a ‘streamer’ only option with everything on the highest level.

Now it is more of a tweaked A8. I like my A8, but the A10 only would provide me upgraded clocks as a transport. I use A8 only as transport.

A10 should have been a bigger screen, in sync with the bigger case. Actually I already thought the A8 screen was to small in comparison to the A6. A display in the volume knob, nice… but a bigger display would have been way nicer.

And why not two options? A streamer only and a version with included dac. Like Hifi Rose rs130 or rs150.

Eversolo DMP-A10​

The Eversolo DMP-A10 is a network and DAC player of the highest quality and incredible versatility. As a true centerpiece of a modern Hi-Fi system, it offers a wide range of functions, from local file playback to access to your music library from networked devices or your favorite streaming applications. Its careful design also guarantees the clearest and most accurate sound reproduction possible. The model uses the patented EOS operating system (Eversolo Original Sampling-rate Audio Engine), which supports audio output at any sample rate. In other words, when playing any audio file, you can completely avoid Android's SRC limitation, as it supports audio transfer from third-party applications for perfectly accurate playback.The DMP-A10 supports virtually all available high-resolution file formats, including CD formats (FLAC, WAV, APE), DSD512 (.dsf, .dff, .iso, .dst), and stereo and multi-channel streams.


Hybrid DACs with Divided Sections


Audio decoding of the DMP-A10 is done using two chips: AK4499EX (analog section) and AK4191EQ (digital section). This design minimizes the impact of digital noise on analog output, resulting in a noticeable improvement in signal / noise ratio. The DAC supports high-resolution audio streams of up to 32-bit PCM at 768 kHz and DSD512, as well as decoding of MQA files.


DSP processor


The DMP-A10 also incorporates a powerful AK7739VQ-based DSP processor with DSP volume control, parametric equalizer, FIR filters, HPF / LPF filtering, bass reinforcement, compressor, and delay control.


LCD touch screen


The 6-inch high-definition LCD touch screen, perfectly integrated into the DMP-A10's aluminum housing, guarantees practical and ergonomic use. The user interface should be as intuitive as possible. Thus, it is possible to access all the parameters and information of the player through this beautiful interface.


High speed SSD compatibility


The DMP-A10 is equipped with 4GB of DDR RAM + 64GB of eMMC internal memory, allowing many applications to be used. The slot is compatible with an SSD M.2 NVME 2280 up to 4TB (SSD not included), it is designed to be installed without removing the cover and allows you to store your music locally and access it very quickly. Power supply


To eliminate mutual interference and noise between system circuits and audio circuits, as well as to improve sound clarity, EverSolo has used a dual power supply design on the player power supply. The linear power supply consists of a toroidal transformer specially designed to adapt to the characteristics of analog audio circuits. The high-quality switched power supply is specifically designed for system circuits, greatly reducing ripple and magnetic leak noise, and provides reliable support for high-quality digital audio processing. It also incorporates proprietary smart switching technology for the input voltage of the linear power supply,ensuring compatibility with voltages around the world without the need for manual switching.


Audio components


The audio quality of the analog output of the DMP-A10 is monitor level. Audio circuit elements include German WIMA capacitors, NICHCON special audio capacitors, Murata chip capacitors and Omron relays from Japan, US IT Audio operational amplifiers. and much more. The goal is to offer a more authentic and cleaner sound.


Volume control circuit


A fully balanced analog volume control circuit made up of resistors and precision relays provides precise volume control, effectively suppressing distortion and noise of the analog signal. It also has volume protection, which automatically reduces excessive volume to a designated safe level during startup or switching of the input interface. Activation of the R2R analog volume control ensures that the DAC can operate in an optimal state at all times.


Complete range of inputs and outputs


The DMP-A10 can be used as a digital player, connecting to a wide variety of high-end DACs through I2S HDMI, USB, optical or coaxial outputs. As a DAC, it also has several digital inputs: two coaxial, two optical and USB-B to connect a computer or a smartphone. As a high performance preamplifier, the unit features a balanced XLR input and an unbalanced RCA input. In addition, the DMP-A10 incorporates Bluetooth 5.0 to facilitate wireless connection to a wide range of sources. Finally, the DMP-A10 can be connected directly to active speakers or to a power amplifier through unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs. The package is completed with a trigger output that allows the DMP-A10 to be integrated into an automatic trigger circuit.


XMOS 316 and watch


The DMP-A10 incorporates a third generation XMOS 316 USB interface for seamless USB audio reception and decoding. Supports audio streams of up to PCM 32 bits 768 kHz, DSD to DSD512 and MQA. As for optical ports (coaxial and Toslink), they support DSD 64 (DoP) and PCM 192 24-bit.


Like the updated DMP-A6 Master Edition, the DMP-A10 incorporates two high-precision femtosecond Accusilicon clock oscillators and ultra-low phase noise for the audio decoding circuit (45,1584 MHz and 49,152 MHz), which correspond to the decoding multiplication of 44.1 and This effectively suppresses fluctuations, which novomusica zaragoza enables high-precision conversion and decoding of digital to analog audio signals, providing ultra-high dynamic range and output resolution. Improved OPA1612 operational amplifiers with ultra low noise and low distortion (0.000015% at 1 kHz) further enhance this effect.


MQA decoder


The DMP-A10 includes an MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) decoder, which allows you to play these types of files and enjoy sound quality as close as possible to the original studio recording. Also, MQA transmissions are light enough for streaming.


CD play and copy


The DMP-A10 offers CD playback from an external USB connected drive. The integrated CD Rip application uses a data validation mechanism and an error correction function to save the audio data without loss from the CD. The application algorithm intelligently matches album titles and CD songs (officially released CDs are required), Copy tracks without loss and automatically generate album and artist information.


Bluetooth 5.0.


The DMP-A10 uses a QCC5125 Qualcomm chip for Bluetooth 5.0 reception. It is compatible with SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC high definition transmission codecs, allowing you to enjoy high-quality audio playback via Bluetooth.


Balanced preamplification circuits


The DMP-A10 incorporates balanced analog circuits from the DAC chip to the XLR and RCA stereo outputs. This limits noise and channel separation provides better signal quality.


Network functions


The DMP-A10 provides access to the most popular music streaming platforms and web radio stations, such as Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music, Apple Music, HighResAudio and Paradise Radio, allowing you to enjoy music without restrictions. As a streamer, the DMP-A10 supports Tidal Connect and DLNA streaming protocols, as well as many other streaming services. This allows you to play music files directly from a streaming application by transferring them to the DMP-A10 over the local network. In addition, the quality of the novomusic sound is perfectly preserved. It supports a wide range of network protocols, including NFS, SMB v1 / v2 / v3, and UPnP / DLNA, allowing you to explore and play music stored on a NAS or network device connected to the LAN.Even high-resolution audio streams play smoothly.

Control options


A specific mobile control application for Android and iOS has been developed for the DMP-A10. In addition to basic control of playback and management of local system parameters, the app provides asynchronous access to music library data, system applications, and menus. It also allows access to streaming services directly through its interface. If the user is away from the device, novomusica zaragoza can use the application and its screen duplication function to control the streamer through the family interface. An infrared and Bluetooth remote control is also included. It supports WoL (Wake on LAN), allowing you to remotely turn the device on and off from your network (requires wired network connection).

Would of loved a streamer only option. Looks like eversolo doesn't see that as a option. Maybe down the road in the low or mid-range market. Seems its a better sell to include a dac. A lot of people do like a one box solution.

Yeah, I almost wrote the A10 off, as soon as I seen the fins, then the next teaser picture didn't show a amp. I thought the fins were just for design purposes. Then, the screen appeared to be the same size. Was at least hoping for a bigger screen. Was questioning what they upgraded, to warrant this being called the A10. Was looking more like a A8 Master. The display on the volume knob, seems more like a gimmick, would of much rather like everyone else a bigger screen.

To me the clock upgrade is substantial upgrade, if its going to be a streamer/dac. That clock alone will upgrade the sound quite a bit for the dac section, even if they do use the same AK dac chip. Which signs are pointing that they will. At least throw 2 AK4499 inside to make it feel like this is a flagship. I do like the DMP A10 dual OCXO, which eliminates the need for an external clock.

Was hoping it was going to go all out, like the new Matrix M-1, which is way overpriced. I wanted the Fiber optic connection, big 15" screen, ability to use an external clock. I do like the DMP A10 dual OCXO, which eliminates the need for an external clock.

If it indeed has two linear power supplies, that will be a superb upgrade to the streamer. But, then you could do the dual linear upgrade to the DMP-A8, and come out ontop price wise.

I am definitely anticipating some substantial upgrades, for Eversolo to call this streamer the Masterpiece Flagship. It hasn't earn that title yet.

To me this seems more like(compared to A8), let’s replace the internal clocks for better one’s, a little tweaking on the build in dac. And a new fancy volume knob. I think eversolo gives you a very capable device for the money.

But this just feels a little like going from iphone 15 pro to 16 pro or apple watch 9 going to 10, it is not that it is not a upgrade, but it is so so small. I think a lot of people (including me) would love a over the top tweaked streamer, with high end clocks, perfect power supplies, bigger screens… and skip the whole build in preamp and dac.

Well the clocks alone won’t benefit a mscaler+tt2, because through USB connection, de clock used is the one in the mscaler&tt2, not the streamer one.

But we will see, still curious
