Did you compare against Tidal and Apple music?Qobuz
did you enable smb on the a6: https://www.eversolo.com/Support/support_guide/guide_target/NFFwaGB8rhjeq7k9e[ld]3ulg==.htmlAny idea how to enable on Eversolo access to the file system from apps like Bubble UPnP? I really need to browse my (huge) music archive by folders/files. The library based apps simply can not handle my 2TB music database.
At the moment I can only use Eversolo as a streamer. No use as a music server. That's just too bad. Disappointing. (And yes, my FiiO R7 (also Android based) has no problem to allow remote folder/file browsing....)
I was also looking for this possibility, but I think your post gave the answer.Any idea how to enable on Eversolo access to the file system from apps like Bubble UPnP? That`s exactly the point. Same situation in both cased. FiiO R7 and Eversolo DMP-A6 with SSD attached. Bubble UPnP installed. And while I can browse (by folder/files) the SSD attached to FiiO R7 without any problems, I simply can not do the same with the SSD attached to Eversolo. So this can`t be Bubble UPnP problem, that seems to be Eversolo limitation (or probably kind of artificial restriction).Another idea: The BubbleUPnP and Neutron Player android apps can act as UPnP server. I have not tried to install any apps so far, but that should work.
Report back please if you managed to do it.
I have A6 now in testing, i planned to swap my Fiio M23 to A6.
I won't. A6 is thin and harsh to my ears.
Fioo gives much more pleasant, fuller and musical sound.
I must say that i'm very dissapointed at A6's sound.
It's very good to use, almost perfect. Sad that sound isn't so great.
I believe that i will return A6 and carry on with Fiio, it sounds so sweet to my ears.
Using it's own internal DAC. Using balanced xlr out to Aune s17 pro.Fair assessment, thanks for sharing! How do you have it connected to your system? Are you using it purely as a streamer or using the internal DAC?

With Fiio i use balanced output also.
I'm thinking if i might do the same thing. Must think about this.Ah gotcha. Yeah, I don’t find the internal DAC to be anything special. I am using it almost exclusively as a streamer, so I could see how you could be let down by how it sounds.
