Have you ever listened to a song or cd that you haven't heard in a really long time that, when you heard it, was like a completely new song and realized once again how good it was?

This recently happened to me. The song: Enigma - Snow of the Sahara. I knew I had it but for some reason I remembered it as being not that good. One day I decided to listen to it, and it was such a great new song that I felt as if it had just been added to my collection of favorites.

Yup... it has happened to me just recently.

Really, just the biggest hip-hop hits of the 90's. Specifically, Tupac's "To Live and Die in LA." Ah, the memories...

I rediscover whole albums. Most recently, Flash and the Pan, Lights in the Night, Headlines, and Early Morning Wake-Up Call.

Goose -- did you mean Strung Out on OK Computer, the string quartet rendition of OK Computer, or am I confused?

whoops. yeah i meant the string quartet one. i seem to have been typing one handed at the time. (no, not for that reason. i post a lot from my lab and i usually leave one glove on and take one glove off to make a quick useless post while my cells are spinning down or whatever)

At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul (4 years)

this album makes me realize how percussion-based radiohead seems to be. i dig the string quartet and all, but i just can't get past how much better all the songs sound on the real album.. dunno, it bothers me, but i still like it.

the tool one is really cool too (third eye open).
