As anyone who shops at Amazon knows, they do lots of recommending of related items. The also always do a "Better Together" pairing, buy this and that for a special price (which is usually just the individual prices added together).

Now, how did their advanced relational calculations know if I liked this DVD, I'd want to buy the other?

They figure you'll like it so much that you'll wear out the first copy, so that way you'll have a second one on hand

Usually when I'm looking at CDs Amazon suggests CDs that I already have, real useful
