Hi! I've heard of those new Even headphones that adapt to your hearing and I am pretty intrigued. Has any one of you tried them out? Would you recommend them?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks cossix....have you tried AdaptSound yourself? Is it any good?I tend to stay away from these kickstarter type headphones. The whole reason to buy these is because they can be tuned to your ears to offer better sound. The reason I think these are kinda dumb is because Android phones already offer this feature in their music player, I believe it's called AdaptSound or something similar.
This seems more like a headphone for the general consumer, not really for audio enthusiasts.
It works pretty well! I used to use it with my Momentum 2 when I had them on my S7. It plays test tones like a hearing test and asks if you can hear them. Based on that, it EQs each stereo channel to match your hearing ability. It definitely helped the headphones sound more lively and dynamic. Thanks cossix....have you tried AdaptSound yourself? Ok makes sense - thanks a lot!It works pretty well! I used to use it with my Momentum 2 when I had them on my S7. It plays test tones like a hearing test and asks if you can hear them. I don't remember how much the Even headphones cost but I think it was around $300. That seems steep because you're basically paying for that feature than Android has stock. I'm sure there are apps now that do the same thing with ANY headphone also. Looking at the specs, it has the bare minimum frequency response and pretty high (bad) Total Harmonic Distortion at 3%. For comparison, most audiophile headphones at that price have a THD at .03% or similar.
I just don't think the Even headphones are worth that much. You can get much better sound for the same amount of money
