Good day,
In a few days I will be ordering my Gumby and Mjolnir 2. Next month I will buy some Studiomonitors and connect them with balanced XLR on the Mjolnir 2.
Yet I am a bit uncertain which monitor to choose.
The Eve Audio SC305 is about 7cm smaller, has a range starting from 50hz, 2 x 50 watt (and a small tweeter). While the Eve Audio SC307 starts from 40hz (a bit more bass) and 2x 100 watt (and a small tweeter).
My room is just 4x3m although in about a year I will switch from home (probably a bigger room). I did read somewere that space is really important. I am afraid that those bigger studiomonitors will sound bad in a smalll room. The price difference between the two versions is not that much.
Also do you guys turn of the speakers when not using them? Or just turn of the amplifier?
Do you guys set the speakers to max volume (or about 80%) and control the volume completely with the amplifier?
